LIVE EDITING DEMONSTRATION.
Filmmaker Aseel Mansour to perform a live editing demonstration on raw footage from his popular short film "Alert Guns." This demonstration will not only cover the steps needed to deliver a fine looking video clip, it will also describe his editing workflow to help streamline editing tasks.

4pm-6pm
"FILMLOOK."
Images captured on celluloid film have a unique quality unmatched by the best video cameras found today. Yet there are a few techniques filmmakers have at their disposal to reduce the "videolook" and move closer to"filmlook." Cooperative filmmaker Amr Toukhy, who impressed audiences with his visually appealing short "Give me one reason," will perform a live demo on how he produced his short with its astonishing film-like qualities.

6pm-8pm
AFC SCREENING ROOM.
More Cooperative short films and other productions to screen, followed by commentary and discussion.

PREREQUISITES:
- AFC's Intro to Filmmaking Workshop
- Adobe Premiere or equivalent video editing tools.
- Windows 2000/XP user-level knowledge.
