AFC FILMMAKERS KASEM AND QUTTAINEH WRAP-UP PRODUCTION OF FILM "SHARAR"

(JORDAN - 4/10/2006) AFC filmmaker Saleh Kasem teams up with Ammar Quttaineh to complete the production phase for the short drama "Sharar."

Members of the cast of Sharar include Mutaz Dirani, Karim Shiyab, Nour Moumani, Lo'ay Quttaineh, Tamir Omary, and Hisham Hawamdeh.

The film focuses on a blue-collar worker, in one of Jordan's "industrial" zones, in the era of globalization.

The AFC is a cultural initiative aimed at promoting independent Arab cinema.
