WHAT:
This class is a follow-up to the August 8, 2003 workshop. Participants
will learn 1) proper formatting of a screenplay 2) example of
a screenwriting software 3) formulas for outlining plot points
and beats 4) film budgeting and scheduling techniques based on
screenplay 5) and more subjects related to screenwriting. Parts
of a film titled The Fugitive, starring Harrison Ford, will be
previewed in class to analyze the structure, beats, dialog, characters,
and other elements of the film's screenplay.
