THIRD DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING WORKSHOP & SPECIAL
TOPICS TO BE HELD IN AMMAN AUGUST 1, 2003Registration Begins Today
AMMAN, July 27, 2003 - The Amman Filmmakers Cooperative is glad to announce plans for the Third Documentary Filmmaking Workshop slated for Friday August 1, 2003.
Also scheduled on the same Friday are two additional workshops on specialized filmmaking topics: Screenwriting by award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter Annemarie Jacir, followed by Film Subtitling Guidelines and Techniques. Annemarie will deliver her workshop from New York City live via Internet conferencing.
The workshops are free and open to the general public. But confirmation is needed 48 hours prior to start time/date for each workshop separately to avoid walk-in fees.
The workshops fulfill a key pillar of the Cooperative's mission: to bring the art and science of filmmaking within reach of those who have the talent and interest as well as help the Cooperative identify exceptional talent in need of special attention and mentoring.
