BACKGROUND:
The Open Doors program organized with the support of the Swiss Foreign Ministry's Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) continues its outgoing commitment to raising the visibility of film projects from developing countries and from countries which lack a constructive film industry. Open Doors creates networking opportunities with possible co-producers and other industry partners who may be able to assist in getting projects off the ground.
Open Doors is a practical expression of one of the Festival's key vocational objectives: bridging the gaps between diverse and distant film cultures and traditions.
