JSFF'07 GOES ON NATIONAL TOUR

(AMMAN, November 3, 2007) The Jordan Short Film Festival '07 has started its national tour with focus on remote and disadvantaged communities. The first screening was held at the Jordanian Dead Sea community of Ghour Mazra'a.

The festival screenings were preceded by filmmaking workshops part of the Hope Films initiative.

The children short film screenings program was provided by Nadira Ardjoun based on a selection of films from the Clermont-Ferrand Int'l Short Film Festival.

The JSFF'07 festival is held under the patronage of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and organized by the Amman Filmmakers Cooperative. The festival is sponsored by the Abdulhameed Shoman Foundation, Toyota-Jordan, and Goethe Institute. The tour is sponsored by the Zikra Initiative.
